I know of the Jones brothers, Josh Warren, Travis Turner, Todd Hamilton, Johnson kid from Powell Valley (Airforce Acc) Boo Sensibaugh (miss spelled), and Carol Dale. Thats all I can think of off top of my head. Ofcourse this is just football, if you know of kids going in other sports let me know. Sheldon Adams went to VT in baseball is the only non football D1 athelete I can think of.

Dean Herman of Kelly was special teams captain on Clemson's national title team.
One of the Davis brothers from Appy (Paul?) started at nose guard at North Carolina on the same defense as LT - also played a little pro ball
Tom Turner at VT
Pound had a lineman in the early-mid 70's who played D1 but I can't recall his name.
Clintwood had a lineman mid 80's, tall kid, played D1, maybe at Wake - surely Lung or Counts or someone can recall.
